What is millboard decking?
The founder of Millboard is James Douglass, he was also the original founder of Stonemarket. Millboard is a wood-alternative decking that is the world’s only decking in hand-moulded polyurethane. They have captured the beauty of real wood by searching for the finest specimens in which to hand mould from. Millboard’s vision is that they want the beauty of nature to be used to inspire all their products but produce decking that solved the issues that most people said came in time with wood decking such as rot, slipping and continual maintenance.
Why choose Millboard?
Millboard decking is the perfect choice for those wanting to add some serious class to their garden and do not have the time for yearly treating and staining of decking. There are a range of looks from a natural oak finish to a weathered look that gives you the style of weathered driftwood. A decking that is designed to stand the test of time and even comes with a 25 year residential warranty. If you have high quality in mind then consider using Millboard for your deck, a stylish, maintenance-free floor - very luxurious! The look of wood without rotting, warping or splinters - perfect for little feet and paws.
Some examples of our millboard decking installations
Ayegardening transforms a range of different size gardens but the one consistent feature is quality materials from trusted suppliers. Here is a range of different projects that we have completed around the area.
Millboard bench richmond
When we were creating a cantilevered bench in Richmond we chose Millboard as the material due to low maintenance, no warping, rotting or staining.
Millboard Deck Teddington
As part of this transformation in Teddington we installed a large Millboard deck in Smoked Oak. It looks amazing with the new lawn and lighting.
Richmond Millboard Decking
In this project in Richmond we could not secure anything in the basement roof, so everything in this photo has been installed using pedestals. The charred oak Millboard contrasts well with the slab khaki porcelain paving.
Dorking Millboard Decking
Our client in Dorking gave us a great challenge. They had an angled extension that we needed to install a raised deck around. The result is beautfiul.
Millboard Dining Area
Ayegardening transformed an area of this garden in Leatherhead by installing a raised deck perfect for evening sun entertaining.
Coppered oak millboard
In this garden in Crawley our client wanted a deck for breakfast in the morning sun. They chose this style of deck as it reminded them of something they had seen in Sweden.
Millboard Deck Horsham
Our client in Crawley had a gap between the conservatory and rest of garden that was perfect for a Millboard deck. The space still looks good years on due to the durability and quality of the deck.
Enhanced Grain Golden Oak
A Millboard installation by Ayegardening in Redhill. The deck was perfect material to install in a clay based garden and meant we could raise the deck to the bi-fold doors creating a stylish space to entertain.
Millboard Deck Reigate
We used the charcoal Millboard decking on this project in Reigate as it tied in with the dark grey theme and it was a perfect solution to proving a platform to which our client could step down onto from their bi-fold doors. Garden designed by Laura's Gardens.
Millboard Deck Reigate
On this project in Reigate, a Millboard path was chosen as a solution to tie together two paved spaces. Not only because the existing patio was higher than the rest of the garden but also because it was a nice change in material.
Millboard Deck Reigate
On the same project as the previous photo, smoked oak Millboard was chosen as a main deck as it worked well with the other tones in the garden.
Millboard Deck London
On this project in London, Millboard deck boards were chosen as a solution to access a small outside space. Millboard has a high slip rating and it durable and attractive.
